New NHS Charges are applicable from 1 April 2011
New NHS Charges are applicable from 1 April 2011 in respect of injuries suffered post 1 April 2011. The circular from the Compensation Recovery Unit indicates that they will be published as follows:

Points to note : 
- NHS Charges are payable in addition to recoverable benefits (if any)
- NHS Charges are payable no matter what level of settlement is agreed or ordered
- NHS Charges are payable on payment of an interim payment
- NHS Charges can be reduced where an apportionment on liability has been agreed and you can prove this.
- NHS Charges need to be taken into account when reserving as they cannot be set off.
